Basic structure of three-phase asynchronous motor

The main structure of a three-phase asynchronous motor consists of the following parts:


1. Magnetic circuit part:


1.1. Stator core (made by laminating thin silicon steel sheets with insulation paint on the surface of 0.35mm~0.5mm thick, reducing eddy current losses caused by alternating magnetic flux passing through the core. The inner circle of the core has evenly distributed grooves for embedding stator coils);


1.2. Rotor core (made by laminating 0.5mm thick silicon steel sheets on the rotor shaft, with the same function as the stator core. On the one hand, it serves as a part of the motor magnetic circuit and on the other hand, it is used to place the rotor winding)


2. Circuit part:


2.1 Stator winding (A three-phase winding consists of three independent windings, each connected by several coils. The coils are wound with insulated copper or aluminum wires.)


2.2 Rotor winding (winding shape and cage shape)


3. Mechanical parts: machine base, terminals, shafts, bearings, etc.
